MMA Rules

Dear valued students and respected families,
Please pay careful attention to the following rules and regulations of Melody Music Academy:

1. Tuition fees are collected on a term basis (eight sessions) and must be paid before the commencement
of the first session.
2. Tuition fees are non-refundable at any stage of registration and instruction.
3. On the eighth session of each term, students are required to register for the next term; otherwise, the academy is not
obligated to reserve the allocated class time for the student.
4. Due to limited classroom space, students must be present at their class time as indicated during registration. Arriving too
early or too late may disrupt the class for the next student, and complaints have been made about this issue.
5. Students are allowed to have one absence during an eight-session term, provided they notify the academy at least 24
hours in advance. Additional absences will be counted as one session.
6. Any student’s absence is their responsibility, and the academy will not provide makeup sessions.
7. If a class is cancelled by the academy, a makeup session will be scheduled in coordination with the student.
8. Attendance of companions in the class is only allowed in special cases and with the academy manager’s approval.
9. Students are expected to actively participate in extracurricular activities organized by the academy or their instructor.
10. The duration of class sessions may vary depending on specific circumstances, but classes are generally based on half-
hour sessions.
11. Students desiring longer class durations can register for 50-minute classes in coordination with the academy manager.
12. Requests to change class times (temporary or permanent) must be submitted with valid reasons at least one week in
advance and will be subject to review and approval.
13. Any changes regarding classes and other matters should be made through the academy office.
14. Please share any suggestions or criticisms directly with the academy manager as soon as possible.
15. Take special care to preserve and maintain academy property and equipment.
16. To use the free counselling session, coordinate with the academy manager in advance.
17. Recording of teaching sessions in audio or video format is only possible with the instructor’s agreement and the
Academy’s approval.
18. The presence of parents or guardians of students under 15 years of age is mandatory during classes.
